A very attractive, 19th century, French copper mould. This is made from a heavy gauge of copper and it dates from c.1870. It has fluted sides which continue over the top forming a stylised flower shape. The design is most effective when hanging on a wall and there is a small hole in the side which allows for a string to be attached. This is probably where there was previously a hanging loop attached which has been removed. The mould is in excellent condition but the tinning, to the interior, is worn and flakey.
Dimensions: Height 8.5cm. Diameter 17.5cm.
