A fabulous, two part copper mould in the shape of a hedgehog. This is beautifully modelled, it is English and it dates from c.1870. Originally this would have fitted together and there would have been clips to hold it in place. Now, the fittings have been removed, and it is slightly misshapen so it wouldn’t fit back together and it could no longer be used. It is, however, a lovely decorative piece. There are small holes where the fittings have been removed and small steel rings have been attached so that the mould can hang.
