A fabulous quality, 19th century, copper mould with the Prince of Wales Feathers design to the top. This design was made by Benhams but this example is not marked. It simply has the pattern number “451”. It was designed to commemorate Edward as Prince of Wales, who later became Edward the 7th, and it dates from c.1880. The design is exceptionally well detailed, and very deep, and the mould is made from a heavy gauge of copper. It is in excellent condition and the tinning to the interior, although no longer shiny, is still in usable condition.
Dimensions: Height 13cm. Diameter 12.8cm.
