Code: J22633
A nineteenth century, French copper ring mould. This is quite a simple design, with fluted sides and a raised ring around the centre, but it does display very well when hanging. There are no manufacturers marks but it is made from a heavy gauge of copper and dates from c.1880.
It is in very good condition but the tinning, to the interior, is worn and flaky. A brass fitting has been attached to the interior of the mould by which it can be hung but it also renders the mould unusable unless it is removed.
Dimensions: Height 8.5cm. Diameter 15.5cm.
