An unusual, French copper mould with a star to the top. This is made from a heavy gauge of copper and it dates from c.1870. It is engraved “L.B” to the side. These would be the initials of a previous owner. There are no manufacturers marks. It is quite shallow in relation to its’ diameter and therefore would display well hanging on a wall. There is slight marking to the copper on the top of the mould but otherwise it is in very good condition and the tinning is still in quite good condition.
Dimensions: Height 9.5cm. Diameter 17.5cm.
