A lovely quality, 19th century, French copper pipe mould. This is well made, from a heavy gauge of copper, and there is a small, brass hanging loop attached to the side. The design, which is very crisp, consists of six angular columns with dome tops. This type of mould, with a central pipe, was used for baking as the contents would cook from the middle as well as the outside. It dates from c.1870 and is in excellent condition. The tinning, to the interior, is still in very good, usable condition.
