French Copper Pudding Mould

French Copper Pudding Mould

Code: J21550

SOLD

A very good quality, 19th century, French copper pipe mould. This type of mould, with the central pipe, was usually used for baking cakes and puddings. The central pipe allows the contents to cook from the centre as well as from the outside. This is an excellent quality example, being made from a very heavy gauge fo copper, and it dates from c.1870. The design consists of seven fancy, reeded columns with dome tops. It is in excellent condition but the tinning, to the interior, is slightly flaky.

Dimensions: Diameter 13.5cm. Height 11.8cm.
