A good quality, French copper mould with an attractive grape design to the top. This mould is well made , from a heavy gauge of copper and it has a castellated seam down the side. It dates from c.1860. The design to the top is well modelled and it shows a bunch of grapes, on a branch, with vine leaves. The top half of the sides is fluted and the lower half is plain. There is a hanging loop attached to the rim and the mould would look equally good either hanging or displayed on a shelf. It is in excellent condition. The tinning, to the interior is slightly worn.
