Good Quality French Copper Mould

Good Quality French Copper Mould

Code: J21975

A good quality, 19th century, French copper mould. This is made from quite a heavy gauge of copper and it dates from c.1870. It is stamped, by the side of the fitting for the hanging loop, but the stamp is a little indistinct. It is either the number ‘110’ or it is a badly struck “H O”. The design consists of alternating rounded topped columns and columns which are split into three sections. This design displays well either on a shelf or hanging. The mould is in very good condition and the tinning, to the interior, is still in good enough condition for the occasional use.

Dimensions: Diameter 14.2cm. Height 10.8cm.
