Code: H20537
A nineteenth century, English copper, ice cream bombe mould. This is marked “JOHNSON & RAVEY 4 CONDUIT ST. W.” around a crown. The mould dates from c.1880 and this company was taken over by Benham in 1919. It is made from a heavy gauge of copper, has a brass screw fitting to the base and a copper loop handle to the lid.
There is some scratching to the copper. The lid has recently been re-tinned and, although the mould hasn’t, it is still in good, usable condition.
