An interesting, 19th century, copper ring mould. This is marked “JONES BROS DOWN ST. W.” in a circular form. Jones Brothers, along with Benhams were one of the leading manufacturers of copper cookware in England in the 19th century. This mould is quite an unusual shape, with a recessed top above wrythen, fluted sides. It is well made, from a heavy gauge of copper and it dates from c.1880. It is in excellent condition but the interior is slightly worn and grey.
