A large, 19th century, French copper mould in the shape of a melon. This is a very decorative piece which looks great when hanging. It is marked “DPT” and these would be the initials of a previous owner. It dates from c.1880. Unfortunately there are three small holes in the mould, two in the rim and one on a central high point, so the mould could no longer be used.
