Code: J21659
A large, 19th century, French copper cake mould. This is well made, from quite a heavy gauge of copper and it dates from c.1880. The design is very attractive, with a scalloped base and wide fluting to the top. Generally it is in good condition but there is a small split to the rim. This is probably from the time of manufacture as there is evidence of brasing to a part of the split. The tinning, to the interior of the mould, is worn and flaky.
Dimensions: Height 19.5cm. Diameter 19cm.
