A large, 19th century, French copper mould. This is made from quite a heavy gauge of copper and it dates from c.1870. It is very decorative for a mould of this size, with a fluted top above a band of triangles in the central section. Unfortunately, there are a number of splits to the top of the plain, lower band. They are all small but this does mean that the mould can’t be used and is now purely decorative.
Dimensions: Height 20cm. Diameter 19cm.
