A large, Victorian copper cake mould. This mould is unmarked, but it is French and it dates from c.1880. The design is three tiered, with a fluted top section, a scrolling middle section and a plain base. The piece is well made, from a heavy gauge of copper. There is a very tiny nick in the rim of the mould but this is not a split and it doesn't go through the copper. There are also a couple of extremely minor dents on high points of the mould. Overall it is in very good condition. but there is hardly any tinning left on the inside of the mould.
