A very good quality, French copper pipe mould in usable condition. This is made from a very heavy gauge of copper and it dates from c.1870. There is a central pipe in the mould which allows for cooking or setting from the centre as well as the outside, thus speeding up cooking or setting times. A small brass loop is attached to the rim so that the mould can hang when not in use. The design is very attractive, with eight flattened domes to the top above a central fluted section. The mould is in excellent condition and the tinning, to the interior, is still in very good, bright, usable condition.
