A very ornate, 19th century, French copper mould. This is marked only with a pattern number ’3675’. It is made from a substantial gauge of copper and it dates from c.1880. The design is very elaborate, with six fluted columns divided by stylised, rock like structures. It is in very good condition but the tinning, to the interior, is very worn and black, so it could not be used without re-tinning. It is an incredibly decorative mould.
Dimensions: Height 12.5cm. Diameter 18cm.
