A very good quality, 19th century copper ring mould. This is well made, from a very heavy gauge of copper. It is marked only with a pattern number “521” but it is probably French and dates from c.1870. It has overlapping circles to the top and this type of design is known as a “penny top” as it looks like overlapping copper pennies. It is in excellent condition but the interior is worn so it could not be used.
Dimensions: Height 7cm. Diameter 15.5cm.
