A nineteenth century, plain copper ring mould. This shape of mould was known as a timbal mould. This example is made from a substantial gauge of copper, it is English and it dates from c.1880. There is very minor denting to the top, from use, but otherwise it is in good condition. The tinning, to the interior, is worn but it would still be alright for occasional use.
