A nice quality, 19th century copper mould with a shell to the top. This is stamped with a pattern number ’81’. It is French and it dates from c.1880. The shell design is well moulded and this extends down to dome topped fluting on the one side whilst the opposite side remains plain. It is in excellent condition but the tinning, to the interior, is worn.
