A nice quality, Victorian copper jelly mould. This is stamped with the orb and cross symbol used by Benhams above a pattern number “442” and it dates from c.1890. The design consists of six spiral columns with small, dome tops. It is made from quite a substantial gauge of copper. There is very slight marking to the copper, on the rim of the mould, and there is slight denting to the tops of the columns. The tinning, to the interior, is worn.
