A French copper mould with a star to the top. This is made from quite a heavy gauge of copper and it dates from c.1890. It is quite shallow in relation to its’ diameter and therefore would display well hanging on a wall and there is a small, brass ring attached to the side for this purpose. There is some denting to the top rim of the mould, and also to the sides, but otherwise it is in good condition. The tinning, to the interior, is worn.
Dimensions: Height 10cm. Diameter 18.3cm.
