A mid sized, Victorian copper jelly mould of wrythen, fluted form. This is marked “TEMPLE & CROOK IRONMONGERS MOTCOMB ST. S.W.” above a number ’541’ which would be the pattern number. It is made from a heavy gauge of copper and it dates from c.1880. It has a central pipe so that the contents will either cook, or set, from the centre as well as from the outside. It is in very good condition and the tinning, to the interior, is still in very good, bright, usable condition.
