An interesting, 19th century, French copper mould of simple, three tiered form. This is marked “TROTTIER FNT PARIS” within a circular stamp. It has a wired rim, it is made from a substantial gauge of copper and it dates from c.1890. It was possibly for baking a cake or dessert and the tiers could then be decorated with fruits or cream.
There is slight pitting to the copper, on the base of the mould, but otherwise it is in good condition. The tinning, to the interior, is slightly worn.
Dimensions: Diameter 22cm. Height 8.5cm.
