A nineteenth century, French copper cake mould. This is marked “TROTTIER PARIS” in a circular mark, beside a number ‘8’. It is made from a substantial gauge of copper and it dates from c.1890. The mould has fluted sides and the design is very simple but it would turn out well and it displays well hanging on a wall. It is in very good condition but the tinning, to the interior, is worn.
Dimensions: Diameter 22.7cm. Height 8cm.
