An attractive, 19th century, French copper mould. This mould is stamped ‘TROTTIER PARIS FNT’ and it dates from c.1890. Trottier were one of the leading French manufacturers of copper kitchenware in the 19th century and supplied an entire batterie de cuisine for St James’s Palace in London. The design of the mould displays well when hanging and there is already a small, steel hanging loop on the rim. This is original to the piece. It is in excellent condition and the tinning, to the interior, is still in very good, usable condition.
