An interesting, 19th century, copper ring mould. This is well made, from a heavy gauge of copper, and it has a castellated seam down the side. It is probably French and it dates from c.1860. The design has overlapping circles to the top above high, plain sides. Although the overlapping circles are seen on many moulds they are much more tightly overlapped on this example. It would display very well hanging on a wall. It is in excellent condition but the tinning, to the interior, is worn.
Dimensions: Diameter 15.5cm. Height 9.9cm.
