A good quality, 19th century, copper mould. This is marked with a pattern number “12” above “0”. The design is two tiered, the top tier with ten rounded topped columns and the lower tier with twelve columns of the same form. It is made from a heavy gauge of copper and the design has a slightly planished finish. It is French and it dates from c.1890. The mould has a central pipe so that the contents will cook from the inside as well as the outside if using it for baking. It is in excellent condition and the tinning, to the interior, is still in good enough condition for it to be used.
