A Victorian copper mould with a simple column design. This mould has no manufacturers marks but it is English and it dates from c.1880. The design features twelve rounded topped columns which are wider at the base that at the top. The mould has a central pipe and this is so that, if you are using it for baking, the cake or pudding cooks from the centre as well as the outside. This stops the centre from being stodgy. The mould is in excellent condition and the tinning, to the interior, is still in good, usable condition.
