A nineteenth century, French copper ring mould of low form. This type of mould displays very well either hanging or on a shelf. It is made from a substantial gauge of copper and it dates from c.1890. There is a tiny hole in the side, where possibly a hanging loop has been removed. It is in very good condition but there is marking to the copper on the inside of the ring. The tinning, to the interior, is worn.
