A small, Shelley, crayfish pattern mould. Shelley made a number of different animal design moulds and each one was made in three different sizes. This is the smallest of the crayfish, being a size 1. The design has four crayfish around the sides which are divided by scallop shells. It is marked “SHELLEY” within a shield, with “MADE IN” above and “ENGLAND” beneath and it dates from c.1930. It is in excellent condition.
