A good set of metric brass weights in their original wooden box. The cylindrical weights range from 500 grams down to 1 gram and in the little compartment, with the hinged lid, there are very tiny, flat weights which go down to one tenth of a gram. It is amazing that these weights are all still together and that the tiny ones haven’t been lost. There are numerous weights and measures stamps on the weights, many of which have been overstepped over the years, but I believe the set dates from c.1890.
