A large, 19th century, English copper coffee or chocolate pot. This is made from a heavy gauge of copper and it dates from c.1860. It has a castellated seam to the side, a folded seam to the base, and a rolled rim. The handle is turned from rosewood and this is attached to the pot by a triangular copper fitting. It is in excellent condition but the tinning, to the interior, is worn.
