A sprig moulded, pearlware jug with copper and pink lustre decoration. This is well potted, it is English and it dates from c.1830. The wide band around the centre of the body of the jug is sprig moulded with scenes of huntsmen, horses and hounds. This decoration is highlighted with pink lustre and polychrome enamels against a copper lustre background and this colour combination is quite unusual. There is some restoration to the spout and there is also some loss to the green enamel.
