An early 19th century pearlware jug with pink lustre and green enamel decoration. This is boldly decorated with geometric designs and flowers. This style of decoration was produced at the Swansea Potteries and it is most likely that this jug was made there. It is well potted and dates from c.1820. There are two chips to the rim of the jug but other than that it is in good condition and the lustre decoration is still in good, bright condition with only very slight wear to some of the high points.
