A nineteenth century, copper and pink lustre jug. This is quite lightly potted and it dates from c.1830. There are bands of copper lustre to the top and the base and the central band has buildings and landscapes in pink lustre on a blue ground. This style of decoration became generically known as “pink lustre house pattern”. The jug is in excellent condition.
