An attractive, moulded, pearlware mug with pink lustre and enamel decoration. This is moulded with different classical subjects which are coloured in pink lustre and green enamels against a blue enamel ground. This type of decoration is often attributed to the Wood family of Burslem. It dates from c.1830 and is in reasonable condition for its’ age. The glaze is crazed, there is a small chip to the rim, which is in the manufacture as it is glazed over, and there is a chip to the foot.
