A Sunderland lustre plaque printed and coloured with a ship. This has an impressed mark “DixonCo” to the reverse. This is one of the marks of the Garrison pottery, Sunderland. It is printed in black and coloured in green, yellow and red enamels. The border is decorated in pink, splash lustre edged with copper lustre.
Date: c.1830.
