A nice quality, creamware jug with pink and copper lustre decoration. This is decorated with bands of copper lustre on which are flowers and foliage painted in polychrome enamels. There are also narrow bands of pink lustre and pink lustre highlights to the spout and handle. It is probably Staffordshire and it dates from c.1830. There is minor wear to the pink lustre on the rim, spout and handle, and there is a piece of kiln grit stuck to the interior of the jug. The jug is in good condition with no cracks, chips or restoration.
