A 19th century, wooden butter ejector print. Butter was put into the cup of this print and then pushed out to form a neat, circular pat of butter with a design to the top. This example is well carved, in beechwood, with a thistle. It dates from c.1890 and is in excellent, usable condition.

Dimensions: Overall length 9.8cm. Diameter 6.4cm. It would turn out a pat of butter 5.3cm. diameter by 2.7deep.
