A stunning, early nineteenth century, pink lustre bough pot. The moulded form has panels decorated with flowers in enamel colours and varying shades of pink lustre. The pierced lid is surmounted with a lion finial which is highlighted with the pink lustre glaze.
English pearlware: Probably Staffordshire. c.1820
Dimensions: Length 23cm. Width 12cm. Height 24.5cm.
Condition: Hairline crack to the back which does not show on the outside. Chips to interior rim and reverse of scalloped edge. Lid professionally restored to a high standard.
