An early 19th. Century, porcelain bowl decorated in pink lustre. This is decorated, in varying shades of pink lustre, with houses and a church. This style of decoration, no matter what type of building is depicted, has become generically known as “Pink Lustre House Pattern”. It is English and dates from c.1820. The bowl is in excellent condition and the lustre on the exterior is still in very good, bright condition. The lustre to the interior is worn, from use.
