A moulded, Staffordshire, pearlware jug with pink lustre and green enamel decoration. This piece dates from c.1830. It is moulded with dogs to either side and to the rim is a border of grapes and vines. It is unusual in that the handle is also moulded with a dog's head. The design is then coloured in varying shades of pink lustre and green enamel. There is a crack running around the base. This does not effect the look of the piece but it does run around about a half of the foot.
