A very attractive, early 19th century, pearlware jug with pink lustre and green enamel decoration. This jug has a very unusual handle which is formed as a human figure. The jug is moulded with circular panels to each side and three of these are filled with various pink lustre house designs. The borders and rim are moulded with leaves which are picked out in pink lustre and green enamel.

There is slight staining and crazing overall to the jug but it is in good condition. There is slight wear to the lustre on the handle.
