A silver resist, lustre jug on a yellow ground. This is a charming example, with very bright, bold decoration, in the form of stylised flowers and foliage, and the silver lustre is still in excellent condition. It dates from c.1820 and this colour combination has always been highly desirable. Unfortunately the spout has been restored, and this can be seen in the images, but otherwise the jug is in good condition.
