A Grimwades, “Quick Cooker” pudding boiler. This is designed, with a central pipe, so that it cooks from the inside as well as the outside, hence cooking in less time than a standard pudding bowl. Both the bowl and cover are covered in green transfer prints which give instructions for the use of the boiler. The interior of the lid is printed with adverts for other culinary products which were produced by Grimwades. It dates from c.1920 and is in excellent, usable condition.
