Pierced, porcelain ladle

Pierced, porcelain ladle

Code: G20225

SOLD

A nineteenth century, porcelain pierced ladle with a turned wooden handle. The porcelain ladle is hand painted, in blue, in the Meissen style and it dates from c.1890. The  turned handle has an interesting grain to the wood.  Unfortunately the porcelain has been restored, and the handle is quite loose, so the item could no longer be used. It is now purely decorative.

Dimensions: Length 22.7cm. Diameter of ladle 7cm. Depth of ladle 3.5cm.
