An eighteenth century, polychrome, Dutch Delft plate. This is decorated, in blue, green, yellow and iron red, with flowers and a fence. The decoration is bold and naive in style and the plate dates from c.1780. There is very minor wear to the glaze, on the rim, but this is usual with Delft as the tin glaze is soft and has a tendency to flake. The plate is in good condition, with no damage or restoration.
Dimensions: Diameter 23.4cm. Depth 3.6cm.
