Pewter ice cream moulds in the shape of spears of asparagus. There are two pictured in this image but we actually have five in stock which are all the same. They can be purchased individually or we can give a price for multiples. Each one is marked, in the casting, ‘L.G’. This is the mark of the French company Letang, and they date from c.1880. The design is well detailed and these moulds turn out very well. They would have been taken to the table with the bundle of asparagus shaped ice creams tied with a ribbon. Each one is in excellent, usable condition.
