A pewter ice cream mould in the shape of a melon with a slice cut from it. This is marked, in the casting, ’ S & Co’ and there is a pattern number ‘566'. It is American and it dates from c.1890. The design is simple but well detailed. The mould is in excellent condition. The interior is in very good, bright, usable condition, and the exterior has a dark patina.
